Students will learn the basic techniques and materials utilized for realistic drawing. Students will explore methods of drawing, building on confidence and skill, while developing eye to hand coordination in creating images inspired by what they see. Students will be encouraged to create drawings using various materials like pencils, pens, oil pastels and ink. Students will learn how to draw subjects popular to realism, such as landscapes, still life, and portraits.
