Numbers have so many meanings. They mark a date, a passage of time, a location. Or maybe it is a collection or a formula. What represents numbers to you?
Join us in a group show celebrating our 10 year anniversary!
2D work is welcome and submission is open to all artists ages 16+.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All mediums considered. Work must be original and available for sale. A hanging fee of $10 per artist will be collected at drop off. Please email jpegs to southavenueartsgallery@gmail.com. Limit 2 submissions: label each jpeg with artist name, title, medium, size, and price. Notification and dates listed below. Please label “Numbers” in the subject line. Curated by south avenue arts committee.
CALENDAR:
Now through 9/24: Accepting emailed jpegs. Limit 2. Please send to: southavenueartsgallery@gmail.com
Friday, 9/25: Notification of accepted work. All selections must be available for sale. All work must be professionally presented and securely wired and labeled on the back.
Tuesday, 9/29: Drop off all work at South Avenue Arts, 221 South Ave, Garwood, NJ 07027 during normal business hours (9:30am - 7:00pm).
Show: 10/2 - 11/20
Artist Reception: Friday, 10/2 (7:30 - 9:30pm)
Pick up of work: Tuesday, December 1st (12:00 - 7:00) Include a prepaid, addressed, padded envelope or box if you would like your work returned by mail.
SALES
Accepted works will be considered for sale at the price indicated by the artist. If sold, 70% of the selling price will be paid to the artist.
INSURANCE
Great care will be taken with all work, but artists are responsible for insuring their own pieces if they wish. South Avenue Arts will not be responsible for any loss or damage to work while on the premises or in transit to or from the gallery. Artists are advised to obtain their own insurance.
