A wonderful class for both the beginner pastel artist and the intermediate level pastelist, who would like to take his/her work to the next level. Mostly working from still life set-ups, students will play and grow with this beautiful medium of pastel. The goal is to help you learn and achieve freedom and more confidence in your work. Our focus will be on observation, value and texture, abstraction, fresh bold mark making, compositions and drawing skills. Also will explore fun ways to engage artistic instincts and instill a bit of fun and freedom in our pastel work. All done in a fun, encouraging and relaxed environment. All levels welcome.

Students are asked to bring their own supplies. (A supply list will be provided.)
